It’s really important to keep your BlackBerry OS up to date to have the latest improvements and features that are provided with the latest versions. Here’s how to update your BlackBerry OS.
- First, navigate to the BlackBerryForums.com website
- Then choose your carrier.
- Choose your BlackBerry smartphone. You can click the link “What does it include” for T-Mobile to view the update improvements. For Verizon Wireless, you will be informed of the latest update, but you can’t know what’s included with the update.
- Download the software from the carrier and save it to your desktop.
- Run the install file.
- Connect your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer via USB. BlackBerry Desktop Manager will inform you that Application Updates are Available.
- Click Update Now.
- Finally select only the components you want to update/install. If you don’t use applications like AIM or you don’t need Spanish language support, you can deselect these options to save space.
