1. YouTubeX do not have many options but it is simple and functional. It can also share your videos with your friends by email. The only drawback, it appoints all videos get_video and it will therefore rename and add the extention .flv.
2. KeepVid is another site very simple. No options but it also works with Google Video, MySpace Video, DailyMotion and others. Again we must add the extension manually.
3. VideoDownloader is very similar to KeepVid, but supports many more video platforms and also has a Firefox extension. Like KeepVid downloads are .flv. We recommend MediaCoder for free conversion or Media Convert.

12. KissYouTube is a site that allows, by adding the word Kiss in the URL of the video for download (www.kissyoutube.com/xyz) to go directly on the site KissyouTube and click to download the video in flv.
Other services such as: VideoDL and SaveTube can also download a video in Youtube in .flv by copying the URL of it.

13. VDownloader is a desktop application that lets you copy the links directly from YouTube, Google Video and Grinvi, simply by copy these links and click to download. (The tool automatically converts them to mpeg or avi)

PS 1: To avoid further deterioration of the quality video that you download in .flv (which is already minimal), I recommend you use a flv player and does not convert the video to mpeg or avi. Make your choice!
