The Dell Inspiron Mini 10v Ubuntu Moblin Remix Developer Edition was launched at the Intel Developer Forum, this open source project will include a unique user interface specifically focused on the Internet, the activity of social networks and media consumption, this making it the ideal operating system for small screens. Mark Shuttleworth has announced the next version of Ubuntu to be launched in April 2010, hence its code 10.04. Its name remains, as always with Ubuntu pretty original, since it is Lucid Lynx. Note also that this version is LTS, that is to say, Long Term Support. The updates will be available for three years for general public release and five years for the server version. Lucid Lynx is entitled to a GUI, revised, but still use Gnome 2.0. While the server version will be optimized for cloud computing and large Web infrastructures.
