No need to have PC speakers of competition if your sound card cannot support them. Conversely, it would be a shame to buy low-end PC speakers if you have a very powerful sound card.

Creative Inspire S2 speakers

Creative has announced a set of 2.1 wireless speakers for your PC – the Creative Inspire S2 Wireless. The set includes a subwoofer and two satellites and a tiny Bluetooth dongle to be inserted into a USB port on your computer, you make the sound.

Each satellite measures 7.4cm x 7.3cm x 10.3cm, a size small enough to be used with most laptops. They have a range of 10 meters and contain dynamic drivers 2″. The subwoofer gives you deep bass well. On the right satellite, you have an aux-in input, a headphone jack and an LED displays the status of speakers and receiver for the remote.

The Inspire S2 speakers is available now and costs a price of £130. A wired version is also available priced at £70.
