Projectiondesign F35 projector

November 25th, 2009 | Posted in Displays | No Comments »

With a WQXGA resolution (2560×1600 pixels), the F35 projector can actually see 78% more pixels than a counterpart WUXGA (1920×1200). It uses a DLP chip that controls approximately 4.1 million mirrors (1 per pixel) to control the display of the image.

Although this is a great technological progress, the resolution goes beyond 1080p, then it will “kill” all the current films. It will be best for professionals who want to show presentations or images at a resolution comparable to a 30″ high-end screen (it’s amazing, believe me). The designers may also have a custom made in size of films and of course, you can also use it to play. The projector will arrive in the second half of next year, but the price is not known.
