New Nokia 5235 Comes With Music

Nokia has announced the release in the first quarter of 2010 of the Nokia 5235 Comes With Music. This mobile phone dedicated to music, comes with a free subscription for 12 or 18 months at Nokia Music Store, allowing you to download free and legal music in unlimited. The Nokia 5235 mobile phone is equipped with a touchscreen display of 3.2″, a 2-megapixel camera, a microSDHC slot, a battery life of 33 hours in audio, and runs under Symbian S60 5th edition. Price: 145 euros.

Nokia X6 smartphone will be available in some markets

The Nokia X6, the latest music-oriented smartphone, flagship of the firm, is now available in selected markets. Nokia did not say what exactly its markets, but we know for example that customers in the United Kingdom should be able to buy the X6 from tomorrow.

The X6 smartphone is the first Nokia mobile phone to include Nokia Comes With Music – which means you’ll have unlimited access to millions of songs through the Nokia Music Store.

The features of Nokia X6 include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 360 x 640 pixels, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, full HTML browser, 5-megapixel autofocus camera and 32GB of internal memory.

The Nokia X6 will be available in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Price: it will cost €450 – more or less, depending on the country.

If you are looking for products of the Beatles for your collection, you’ll certainly like to see more about this 16GB USB flash drive apple-shaped. Why it’s so special? Well, it is loaded with legal copies of 14 albums of the Beatles in FLAC format 44.1Khz 24-bit good enough for the most discerning audiophiles. There are also many notes, the album art, photos and films which are mini-documentaries on each album. Only 100 of these USB flash drives are currently available in pre-order. You wonder if it’s worth it to pay £200 for a USB flash drive with songs, then you can probably buy all the original CDs for less…

Launch of Google Music Search

google-logoGoogle dominates Internet search, digitizes books, and now it seems it also wants to enter the music industry. How? Well, the new Music Discover service from Google, of course! Basically, it is a search service for music, and you can find the music you want, listen to a sample of music via the play button, and details on how to buy the song and where to get more information. Google has partnered with MySpace, Lala, Pandora, imeem and Rhapsody for that, then see how things will turn. Could this affect Apple iTunes?

We have seen a billion different electric guitar designs, but it is rare to see someone try to design a violin with a modern look. An Austrian designer named Gerda Hopfgartner released the Gavari semiacoustic violin, inspired by feminine curves, modern yachts and trends corsets. If this semiacoustic violin has a sound that is half as good as its look, it would be fantastic.

MySpace launches “Music Videos”

The social network MySpace has launched in partnership with music labels, MySpace Music Videos, its base of video clips. In parallel to this launch, the artists will also benefit from a dashboard (screenshot below) which allows them to have detailed statistics on the content they share on MySpace (but also iLike).

In this continuity also desire to reposition itself clearly on what made its success to its beginnings, the social network has also announced that users will be able to buy and download songs from iTunes and Amazon MP3 directly from MySpace Music.

Spotify: The best tools and services
