Samsung Corby F mobile phone in South Korea

Samsung has a brand new mobile phone for the Korean market, the Corby F, and it has a brand new stylish design, with a LED screen that shows up to 40 different icons on the flip. Looks like it is designed for the female population. There is also a DMB TV tuner, and a 3-megapixel camera.

Some are probably waiting for the Nokia NURON mobile phone for a while, and the good news is that the device is officially announced at T-Mobile USA and should be available from the operator in the coming weeks. It was previously mentioned that it could be released from March 17. Unfortunately, the price is not known yet. The features of the Nokia NURON mobile phone include:

  • 3.2-inch display (640 x 360 pixels)
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 3G
  • 70MB of internal memory and microSD card up to 16GB

Skype is now available for Nokia smartphones via Ovi Store

Skype is certainly one of the most popular services on the Internet, and almost everyone uses regularly. Nokia has announced the launch of Skype for Symbian. This application is available for free now from the Ovi Store.

Nokia C5 mobile phone

Nokia has officially launched its C5 mobile phone, which is designed for social networking and sharing. As the social network is one of the features of this mobile phone, you can access sites such as Facebook and MySpace quickly and easily, and stay connected through instant messaging and email via Ovi Mail. Other features of the C5 include free GPS navigation maps through Ovi, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 2GB memory card (included), and access to other Ovi services such as Ovi Music and Ovi Store. The Nokia C5 should be available in selected markets in Q2 2010 for an estimated price of 135 euros ($182). Here are the specifications of the mobile phone:

LG Lotus Elite and Rumor Touch mobile phones will arrive in the US

LG and Sprint announced two new mobile phones, the LG Lotus Elite and LG Rumor Touch. Basically, these mobile phones are the successors of previous models. The LG Lotus Elite includes two screens of 2.4″ QVGA, up to 32GB microSD slot, dedicated shortcut keys, 2-megapixel camera and full QWERTY keyboard. The Rumor Touch has a touchscreen 3-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, GPS and camcorder. The LG Lotus Elite will cost a price of $99.99 from January 10, with a 2 year warranty and a discount coupon (mail-in rebate) of $50, but it seems there is very little information about the LG Rumor Touch, so we must wait.

Emblaze Else at CES 2010

Looks like CES 2010 has interesting things to see, like the Emblaze Else by Emblaze Mobile. Chances are that you have not heard of the company or the mobile phone before. In fact, it appeared briefly a few months ago, but there were few details at this time. The Else mobile phone, manufactured by Sharp, will have a touchscreen display of 3.47 inches with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, OMAP 3430 processor, 16MB of internal memory, 5-megapixel camera and GPS. One of the interesting points is that it runs on Linux OS, provided by Access. The Else has certainly a huge challenge, especially when it comes to fighting against giants such as Google, Apple and Microsoft. The Else mobile phone has a very interesting user interface. Keep an eye on the firm (and this mobile phone), is the hope we may see as a current product in the future.

Inbrics M1 smartphone under Android

The Inbrics M1 smartphone is very thin (for a sliding design). In addition to its size, the features include a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, a 3-megapixel camera, VGA camera on the front cover, a 800MHz processor, 16GB of integrated storage, microSD slot, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Although it runs under Android 1.5 for the moment, it should be updated to Android 2.0, by what happens on the market in March 2010. The price and availability are not known, probably because no operator has been confirmed.

LG Rumor Touch mobile phone

The LG Rumor Touch was unveiled at CES, and we had an overview. Now, the successor to the LG Rumor has a large touchscreen 3-inch display (WQVGA), a QWERTY keyboard with 5 rows (against 4 previously), a 2-megapixel camera (1.3-megapixel for the previous model) and the 3G network from Sprint. The keyboard is great and is very comfortable to use. The new Hello UI allows the user to have their favorite contacts on the home screen, and it’s cool because the graphics change with the seasons. The Facebook application is integrated and accessible directly from the main menu. Watch the video contains a quick representative demo of the LG. It will be available this spring, and the price will be announced at a later date. Specifications of the mobile phone:

  • MicroSD slot (up to 32GB)
