Asus launched the Eee PC 1201PN netbook. It runs with an Intel Atom N450 processor, ION GPU from NVIDIA, a 12.1-inch WXVGA LED backlit display, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, an HDMI port and a rechargeable Li-Ion 6-cell battery. The price and availability are not known, but we can see the design is like the MacBook Air.
MSI announced the worldwide availability of the MSI Wind U135. The netbook will be priced from $309.99 (I seemed to see the basic version at $316.99 on Amazon…). The Intel N450 processor of the netbook consumes only 7 Watts and MSI expects that the battery life is increased by 15% compared to previous models. For the performance, they announced a 10% improvement, but it really depends on what you do. To help users to manage battery life, MSI has included a utility that allows you to select multiple “modes”: Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Document and Turbo. Specifications include:
Toshiba extends its line of Satellite laptops with the U505. It delivers multimedia performance and entertainment features. The Satellite U505 notebook PC features include an LCD 13.3-inch TruBrite display, LED backlit keyboard on some models, the choice between the latest Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, optional WiMAX, USB Sleep and Charge technology and an impact sensor disk drive that keeps your data safe. Depending on the configuration, the Toshiba Satellite U505 will cost a price between $649.99 and $949.99 when it will be available.
Here is the Dell Alienware M11x with lines between a notebook and netbook, it’s the latest gaming laptop that will keep happy hardcore gamers. The M11x gaming notebook features a 11-inch display with a resolution of up to 720p, HDMI and VGA output. But unfortunately, there is no Blu-ray drive. Operating with an Intel Atom Z550 processor, the LG X300 ultra thin laptop PC has a 11.6-inch display and 64GB of flash storage. It has a very nice design, and manufacturing quality is quite impressive. Although it runs with an Intel Atom CPU, I doubt it will be cheap. The price to pay for this great design weighing nearly 1kg, is to have just 1GB of memory, which is too little and a 2-cell battery is not sufficient. It is the ultimate laptop PC of meeting, if you have some meetings, while keeping an eye on your emails and calendar.

The price is not known.

Asus will launch a new gaming laptop, the X77, which is powered by an Intel Core i5 CPU. This laptop of 17.3 inches will proobably be released in mid-January. The Asus X77 will feature an Intel Core i5-430M processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730 graphics card and 4GB of RAM, a 17.3-inch LED backlight display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and a HDMI output. The gaming notebook will also include eSATA port, two 500GB hard drives and Wi-Fi connectivity.
HCL in India, has launched another netbook on the market, the ME 06. It has everything of a standard netbook, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, a display of 10.1 inches (1024 x 600 pixels), 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home Edition. Interestingly, it includes 3G connectivity and a SIM slot. This means that you don’t rely entirely on the Wi-Fi network in India. The HCL ME 06 netbook costs a price of about $465.
