HTC and Tata DoCoMo have released the HTC HD2 smartphone in the India. If you buy the smartphone from this network operator, you will have for free Web brwsing and 500MB of data to download per month (this offer is only available for the first 6 months). The HTC HD2 smartphone has the following specifications: Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, a touchscreen multitouch display of 4.3 inches, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and it runs under Windows Mobile 6.5. Price: 39,990 INR (about $855) in the regions of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and it is priced at 36,990 INR (about $789) for other regions.

After the HTC Bravo, here are some additional details about the HTC Legend smartphone visibly successor of the Hero. The Android smartphone, would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor at 600MHz with 256MB of RAM, an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen HVGA 3.2-inch display, Bluetooth 2.1, an FM tuner, a GPS, a accelerometer, Wi-Fi, the 3G, a microSD slot (512MB included), a 1300mAh battery and an optical trackball. The smartphone will run under Android 2.x and its dimensions are 112 x 56.3 x 11.5mm.

Nexus One: the new Google Phone

After the HTC Dream, the HTC Magic, here is the Nexus One, apparently also made by HTC. This is the third official Google Phone that will be available early this year and even that could be distributed directly by the giant Google! In fact, it has accelerated during the weekend when the first pictures of a smartphone named Nexus One appeared on the Web. Google later confirmed on its blog a smartphone was being prepared, but it would be only a phone of “laboratory”, which has recently been widely distributed to Google employees worldwide. For specifications, nothing is confirmed, but according to rumors, the smartphone will have an AMOLED capacitive 3.7-inch display (854 × 480 pixels), a Snapdragon 1Ghz processor with 320MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, GPS and will run under Android 2.1 (Flan) with a new splash screen…

Here is a new leaked picture of the future HTC Bravo smartphone, which is the flagship of HTC smartphone under Android for the year 2010. The smartphone will have a huge 3.7-inch touchscreen WVGA AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, 512MB of flash memory, 320MB of RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity, A-GPS, HSPA, a 3.5mm jack, and a 5-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash. The HTC Bravo smartphone will be launched in April 2010.

20 smartphones under Android from HTC

It’s in the firmware 2.1 leaked of the HTC Hero, that developers have found a series of 20 smartphones from HTC under Android: Bahamas (existing Tattoo), Bravo, DesireC, Dragon (known rumor), Dream (existing), Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero (existing), Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion (known rumor), Sapphire (existing myTouch / Magic), Supersonic. Will they all be released? Not necessarily, but it shows that HTC is to build on the Google OS!

Google Maps Navigation is a free GPS navigation software created by Google. This is normally only available with version 2.0 of Android, but as often, the developers of the XDA forum have managed to bring this software on HTC Dream and HTC Magic!

The new HTC Droid Eris smartphone is now available in the U.S. operator Verizon. The smartphone that we presented a few days ago is between the Tattoo and Hero with a capacitive touch screen of 3.2″ (480 × 320 pixels), a processor of 528MHz with 288MB RAM, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, a trackball, a 1300 mAh battery, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and a MicroSD slot (8GB memory card included), all under Android 1.5 with the Sense interface. Price: $99 with subscription.
