Asus launched the Eee PC 1201PN netbook. It runs with an Intel Atom N450 processor, ION GPU from NVIDIA, a 12.1-inch WXVGA LED backlit display, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, an HDMI port and a rechargeable Li-Ion 6-cell battery. The price and availability are not known, but we can see the design is like the MacBook Air.

ASUS X77 Core i5-430M gaming laptop

Asus will launch a new gaming laptop, the X77, which is powered by an Intel Core i5 CPU. This laptop of 17.3 inches will proobably be released in mid-January. The Asus X77 will feature an Intel Core i5-430M processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730 graphics card and 4GB of RAM, a 17.3-inch LED backlight display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and a HDMI output. The gaming notebook will also include eSATA port, two 500GB hard drives and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Looks like the Asus Eee Pad tablet which was discussed recently, is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra when it will be released next March. According to rumors it will also have a multitouch display, and there is always hope for the Eee Pad in 4-inch and 7-inch screen size to meet different markets and different resolutions (720p and 1080p). As it is expected in March 2010, it is likely that the tablet will run on Android 2.0 instead of 1.5, as for most devices under Android today.

Here is a new upcoming laptop from the manufaturer ASUS, the X77. This notebook features an Intel Core i5-430M processor clocked at 2.26GHz, a 17.3-inch LED backlight display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 video card, up to 4GB of RAM, dual hard drives with 1TB of total storage space, a multi-format DVD burner, an HDMI port, an eSATA port and it runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. The ASUS X77 laptop should be available from mid January for a price around €1,000 ($1,425).

ASUS Eee PC 1001P netbook unveiled

ASUS has unveiled a new netbook, the Eee PC 1001P. It is powered by a Intel Atom N450 processor clocked at 1.66GHz. The netbook features a 10-inch LCD display and a 160GB hard drive. No more info about this upcoming netbook. It seems that the Eee PC 1001P netbook will have fewer wireless options than other netbooks, a lower capacity battery, a different lid design, or some other distinguishing specifications. ASUS unveils Eee PC 1005P netbook

Feature of this netbook from ASUS: it is based on Pine Trail, the new platform from Intel. Thus, it is powered by a nice Intel Atom N450 processor clocked at 1.66Ghz. Of course… besides that, it features a display of 10.1 inches (resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels), an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, 1GB of RAM, a hard drive of 160 or 250GB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and a 6-cell battery. Note that 2 models of netbooks are available: the Eee PC 1005P and the Eee PC 1005PE. The latter offers a battery life of 12 hours. Price: $395 for the Eee PC 1005P and $439 for the Eee PC 1005PE.
