HiVision is present at CeBIT 2010 and it displays its new 7-inch tablet that runs under Android, and icing on the cake, it will cost a price of only $100. At least that’s what the manufacturer promised. We know that the tablet of HiVision will feature a Samsung 6410 800MHz processor, 2GB of internal memory, 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth support, GPS and a battery life of 6 hours.

Inbrics M1 smartphone under Android

The Inbrics M1 smartphone is very thin (for a sliding design). In addition to its size, the features include a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, a 3-megapixel camera, VGA camera on the front cover, a 800MHz processor, 16GB of integrated storage, microSD slot, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Although it runs under Android 1.5 for the moment, it should be updated to Android 2.0, by what happens on the market in March 2010. The price and availability are not known, probably because no operator has been confirmed.

LG GT450 smartphone under Android

You may have missed it, but LG has announced a new Android phone at CES – the LG GT450. It is called by LG as a “smartphone social networking specialist” and is intended primarily to provide a quick and easy access to social networking profiles. The GT450 smartphone will be launched worldwide in April 2010, but the price is not known. The GT450 specification include:

  • Android 2.0
  • 3 megapixel camera
  • MicroSD Slot
  • Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail and YouTube
  • Android Market

ICD Ultra: tablet under Android 2.0 and NVIDIA Tegra

After the Vega, ICD (Innovative Converged Device) has unveiled the Ultra. This is a new touchscreen tablet that runs on Android 2.0 (Flash) with the NVIDIA Tegra platform with 256MB of RAM, and features a resistive touchscreen 7-inch display (1024 × 600 or 800 × 480), a storage space of 4GB, a microSDHC slot, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, GPS (optional), USB host port, HDMI output, FM tuner, a 1.3-megapixel camera, an accelerometer and 3G (optional). Battery life is about 4 hours and its dimensions are 186 x 158 x 18mm for 600g. This tablet should be in demonstration at CES in a few days and will be offered at a price around $250.

The Sony Ericsson Susan mobile phone, also known as J10, made a new appearance, adding oil to rumors that it would be an eco-friendly phone. It would be a device runnind on Android, which would have the Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel camera with flash. If the rumors are true, it could be the Greenheart technology that Sony Ericsson talked for a while?

Acer Aspire One AOD250 netbook under Android

The Aspire One AOD250 netbook under Android from Acer offers a dual-boot system. You’d expect Windows XP to be there, but Google Android? Now that’s something no other manufacturer has done yet. Specifications:

  • Display of 10.1 inches
  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics card

More than 20,000 applications on the Android Market

Although the Android Market is still far from being so provided that the App Store of Apple, the store the Google OS starts to fill up well and has just surpassed the 20,000 applications available! Most applications are still free (62%), but paid applications starts to come more and more (38%).

Motorola Zeppelin and XT800 smartphones available in China

The Motorola Zeppelin and XT800 are two smartphones running under oPhone (Android), for the Chinese market. They are now official and will be available early 2010. The first offers a touchscreen display of 3.7 inches (854 × 480 pixels), Wi-Fi, HDMI TV output, 3G and a 5-megapixel camera. The second has a touchscreen display of 3.8 inches, a Marvel PXA310 624MHz processor, Wi-Fi, an SD slot and a 5-megapixel camera. No prices announced.

eviGroup Wallet Android MID redesigned

eviGroup decided to redesign its next Wallet MID under Android for its upcoming release. The next Wallet has a frame with two colors, with a touchscreen 5-inch display (WVGA), with a webcam in front, right in the middle of the frame. It seems that the Wallet Android MID will debut next month – maybe at CES? Apart from the aesthetic side, nothing has changed.
