Despite its rivalry with Microsoft and its latest commercials mocking Windows 7, Apple announced it would support the latest OS on their computers via the Boot Camp software.
Apple knows how to put aside the marketing offer new features to its users (and catch up over the competition). Thus, by the end of 2009, publisher and manufacturer to update its application Boot Camp to allow users of Snow Leopard to start the new OS from Microsoft: Windows 7.
To benefit from this dual boot, Apple customers must own a Mac with the Intel architecture (except the Mac Pro with an Intel Xeon Dual-Core 2.66GHz or 3GHz).
Updating Boot Camp to ensure the support of Windows 7 on Mac will be available over the next two months, without elaborating on the part of Apple. If the group mocked the new Microsoft OS, it does not neglect the development of Boot Camp.
In fact, VMware Fusion 3 and Parallels Desktop can already run Windows 7 on an Apple computer. In addition, Apple already supported via Boot Camp, previous editions of Windows. It was therefore surprising to deadlock on Windows 7.
