The Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, said that Google Chrome for Mac will be released in a few months, but if you’re impatient and a bit adventurous, you can now test a pre-release now surprisingly robust.
Google warns that Chromium (essentially, the open-source part of Chrome, which you download if you decide to start) still lacks some features of privacy, and is not intended for use by the general public.
That said, if you want to test it and get an idea of the interface and speed, it will be good enough. But do not grouse if you come across bugs, because it is not even a beta, ok? [Direct download (DMG file), Chromium]
