Buffalo USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner

Looks like Buffalo has adopted the USB 3.0, and after its USB 3.0 external hard drive, here’s the BR-X1216U3 USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner. Supports burning speeds of up to 12x for Blu-ray single or dual layer, the USB 3.0 will certainly help to reduce the time of writing. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0, so be quiet. This product is sold in Japan for about 39,100 yen ($449). It’s expensive, but it is at the forefront of technology, right?
