SilverStone SST-TS05B: Blu-ray / DVD combo for netbooks

The SilverStone brand offers a new external Blu-ray player / DVD burner combo, the SST-TS05B.

Connected in the USB for 5 volts supply and data transmission up to 60 Mb/s, this combo writes DVD-R, DVD+R 8x, DVD-RW, DVD+RW 4x, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL 2.4x, DVD-RAM 5x, CD-R, CD-RW at 8x, while it reads Blu-ray at 2x, DVD at 8x and CD at 24x. It weighs 350 grams and has a thickness of 20 millimeters thick.

Price and availability: The device is expected to arrive soon on the shelves. The price is not known yet.
