Dell has officially launched its smartphone that meets the sweet name of Mini 3ix which runs under Android 1.6. The smartphone has the following specifications:

- Resolution of 360 x 640 pixels
- Compatible with GSM, GPRS, EDGE quadband, UMTS, HSDPA dual-band
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Digital camera of 3.15 megapixels, LED flash, autofocus, geotagging
- Accelerometer
- GPS chip
- MicroSD and microSDHC slot (up to 32 GB, 2 GB memory card included)
- Dimensions: 12.2 x 5.8 x 1.2 cm
- Weight: 105 grams
The Dell Mini 3ix smartphone has a little brother, the Mini 3i which is expected for China and will not have Wi-Fi or 3G.
