Xfire: new version of the IM client for gamers

The Xfire software sees its Live Video function improved and supports new games. For those of you who discover, Xfire is an instant messaging client for gamers.

Free and compatible with Windows, it lets you know which contacts are online and see what game they are playing, to reach contacts in part, to have access to details of a server, to converse without leaving the game, chatting on a text or aloud, download the latest mods, patches and video presentations, to make screenshots and video captures, and create profiles with the automatic statistics for games.

This new version 1.115 improves the Live Video function, still in beta, and to broadcast live video of the game in progress, with the possibility of giving a descriptive title to the feed and greater fluidity. Besides, the release notes mention the ability to add contacts in the middle part and the correction of order operating mode into full play with some OpenGL games. And finally, the assumption of new games, including Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mini Ninjas, Need for Speed Shift, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Resident Evil 5, Section 8 and Tales Runner.
