The Kindle is an electronic book that loads content via 3G data. Once the appliance purchased – for a price about €240, shipping costs and customs duties included – its cost comes down to buying books, which involves opening an Amazon account. The gadget never needs to be connected to a PC, and if it can read some types of office documents and experimentally, PDFs, those files should be sent to it by email. You will need the micro-USB plug only to charge its battery.
