The Onda VX530 is a new portable media player that has a very special design because there are no buttons on the front. It supports full HD video, supports video formats such as RMVB (RealVideo8/9/10), MKV (H.264), AVI, MOV, FLV, MPG, VOB, DAT and TS. Pricing and availability are not known yet.

Here is a brand new portable media player from INS Mobile, called iVIDI, and it has a 3.3-inch AMOLED screen with a WQVGA resolution (480 × 272 pixels), a microSD slot, T-DMB TV tuner, MP4 video support, the Wi-Fi, integrated FM radio, ebook reader, a G-sensor with auto-rotation and QSound technology.

The latest portable media player from Icoo, the M100HDC, has a display of 4.8 inches, and it supports the MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, AVI (DivX/XviD/h.264), PMP, DAT, FLV, VOB, MP4, 3GP and MPG multimedia formats easily. The HD PMP also has a TV output. Prices and availability are not known yet.

RAmos T17FHD portable media player

Here is the latest portable media player from RAmos, the T17FHD, and we can assume that the suffix FHD means “Full High Definition”. This PMP features 16GB of internal memory, an integrated microSD slot, a display of 4.3 inches (800 x 480 pixels), HDMI, H.264, MPEG1/2/4 decoding, and compatibility with popular audio and video formats. The RAmos T17FHD has also a voice recorder, even in WAV format. This device costs a price of $137.

Teclast C430T portable media player

Teclast is back with another portable media player, the C430T that will succeed to its predecessor, the C430. Oddly, the C430 was launched only three weeks ago, and it is quite surprising to see an update so quickly. You have a touchscreen 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, 8GB of internal storage, a USB OTG port and TV output. It supports a wide range of video codecs such as H.264, DivX, XviD, MKV, VOB, MP4, WMV, AVI and FLV and may return the videos to 720p on a TV.

Stuart Hughes has crafted the iPod touch Supreme, after the iPhone 3GS Supreme, which is the most expensive iPod in the world. It was re-formed using 149g of solid 22ct gold. The beautiful Apple logo at the back is made from 21g of gold which houses 53 VVS1, colour F diamonds. The main navigation buttons has 12 diamonds of the same quality set in 16g of gold all of which surround its glorious single cut pink diamond which is 2.10 ct colour G-H. Price: £139,995 ($223,418).

The Blue Magic T17 from the Chinese manufacturer RAmos is an affordable PMP, that features a Rockchip RK2728 chipset and a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSD slot, a voice recorder and is compatible with MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, MKV, AVI, RM, RMVB formats as well as HD video playback (1280 x 720 pixels). Price: 399 yuan ($58).

Chuwi PHG portable media player

The Chuwi PHG is not a PSP, but a PMP that emulates 8/16 bits games and offers a 720p HD TV output, compatibility with AVI, RM, RMVB, FLV, VOB, MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, APE, FLAC, a screen of 4 inches (800 × 480 pixels) and a storage capacity of 4GB or 8GB. Price: about $70.

Cowon V5 HD portable media player for January in Korea

Cowon has just announced the upcoming release of its V5 HD PMP in January for Korea. The device, successor to the Q5w, features a touchscreen display of 4.8 inches (800 × 480 pixels), up to 32GB of storage, a 720p HD TV output (HDMI), an SD slot, a T-DMB tuner (optional), Jet Effects 3.0 and BBE+ sound effects, all under Windows CE 6.0. Its battery life is about 10 hours in video and 45 hours in audio, its dimensions are 128 x 82 x 15.7 mm for 197 grams. Price: from $260 (8GB version).

New AV Bank PMP from Thanko

Thanko has just released its new AV Bank portable media player, which has a 7-inch display (800 x 480 pixels) with a capacity of 8GB expandable via a microSD slot, an FM tuner, a speaker, an HDMI output, compatibility with AVI, MPEG, FLV, MP4, MOV, PMP, DAT, VOB, RM, RMVB, all in 112 x 195 x 16 mm and 350g. Price: $180.
